What you should know about thread count.
"Thread count" is simply the number of threads in a square inch of fabric.  This is done by counting the number of threads in the warp (length) and the weft (width) of the fabric. Better quality sheets will start at about 180 thread count.  Any thread count above 200 brings you into the luxury range.  And you can indulge yourself in that luxury today at very moderate, affordable prices!
